Q - Which cleaner is best for my pool? 

Choosing the right cleaner depends on your pool type, size, shape, floor and cleaning needs. Some products are designed for quick spot cleaning, while others provide a complete cleaning of the pool floor, walls, and waterline. Please check the specifications of each model before purchase. 

Q - Can I use the vacuum cleaner in in-ground pools? 

Yes, the vacuum cleaner can be used in above-ground and in-ground pools. Please check the specifications of each model and select the correct one based on your pool size and shape. 

Q - Can I use the robot in in-ground pools? 

Yes, the robot can be used in above-ground and in-ground pools, only on pool floors and flat bottom pools without slope. Please check the specifications of each model and select the correct one based on your pool size, shape and floor structure. 

Q - Can I use the cleaner in a vinyl-liner pool? 

Yes, our cleaners are compatible with vinyl-liner pools. Please check the specifications of each model to ensure compatibility with your pool type and surface. 

Q - Can I use the cleaner in a saltwater pool? 

Yes, our cleaners can be used in saltwater pools. Please ensure the salt is fully dissolved before deploying the cleaner. After each use, rinse the device with fresh water. 

Q - What type of debris can the robot collect? 

The robot is designed for daily pool maintenance and can collect common debris such as sand, leaves, insects, and small particles, depending on the model and filtration feature. 

Q - Does any KOKIDO device clean the waterline? 

We offer two devices designed to help clean the pool waterline, depending on your needs. 

The Scrubby EB001 is specifically designed for waterline cleaning. It features a brushing function to effectively scrub the waterline and is suitable for above-ground pools with liner surfaces. 

For a more complete pool cleaning solution, the Kora EV120 is a pool vacuum designed to clean the pool floor and, thanks to its Wall Glide function, can also clean pool walls, including the waterline. 

Q - Can I clean algae with the handheld pool vacuum/robot? 

No, our products are designed for daily maintenance to collect debris from the pool floor. While it may collect some algae during operation, it is not designed to remove algae buildup. To properly remove algae, we recommend using appropriate pool chemicals and shock treatment. Please contact your pool professional for advice. 


Charging & Daily Usage 

Q - How do I know the handheld pool vacuum/robot is fully charged? 

In most of our devices, the LED light on the adapter will turn from red to green when the battery is fully charged. However, in newer models, the indicator may be located on the device itself or on the battery pack. Please refer to the user manual of your specific model for accurate information.  

Q - How long does charging take? 

Charging time varies depending on the model. Please refer to the product manual or specifications for the recommended charging duration. 

Q - How long does the battery last? 

Battery working time depends on the model and cleaning mode. Please refer to the product specifications for the expected runtime of your cleaner. 

Q - Can I leave the handheld pool vacuum/robot in the pool? 

Please remove the cleaner from the pool once the cleaning cycle is completed.  


Maintenance & Storage 

Q - How do I clean the filter after use? 

For vacuum cleaners and robotic cleaners, empty the filter bag or debris compartment after each use and rinse it thoroughly with tap water. Allow all parts to dry completely before storage. 

Q - How often should I clean the filter? 

We recommend cleaning the filter after every use to maintain optimal suction and cleaning performance. 

Q - How should I store my robot/handheld vacuum? 

Make sure the device is clean and completely dry before storage. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Recharge the battery every 4–6 months during long-term storage.  

Q - Why is my robot not moving properly? 

Please ensure that: 

  • The battery is fully charged 
  • The filter is clean and free of debris 
  • No objects are blocking the impeller or wheels

Warranty & Support 

Q - Does Kokido products have a warranty? 

Yes, Kokido offers a 1-year limited warranty for products purchased through our store and authorized resellers. The serial number and proof of purchase are required to validate the warranty period and coverage. 

Please note that the warranty does not cover wear-and-tear parts or accessories. 

For customers in the European Union, a 2-year warranty applies in accordance with local regulations. 

Q - Where can I find the serial number of the product? 

The serial number is a 10-digit label, usually located next to the rating label on the motor unit on your device. Serial number location

Q - Where can I buy replacement parts? 

Replacement parts and accessories are available through authorized retailers and customer service centres, depending on your region.
